- A daily text/MMS message with educational bites. Daily CSS tips with examples that are in a gif in the MMS.
- A locally-based website that has a community-sourced database of businesses that are having their employees adhering to wearing masks during COVID-19. I found out today a local business does not have any employees wearing masks. No good.
- Decentralized social networks. We all want to connect and communicate, most don't want our data being sold and being controlled what we see and don't see.
- Municipal-based servers for economic development and entrepreneurship. Free hosting and server space as an EDA initiative. There is a plethora of self-hosting apps and programs to help businesses, and a city/municipality can help get businesses started going for a low cost.
- House plant subscription service. We have 30 house plants and there is always room for more green in the house!

ReplyDeleteI like #3 and #4. When I think of #3 I think of torrents/digital currency mining/filesharing. Great ideas. #4 is simply about deciding what's important at a municipality level. Why can't the larger organizations with huge amounts of capital spare a few server racks to help small businesses get going?
